THE CHALLENGE
Phoenix Ancient Art is a high-end antiquities dealer, selling to major museums and collections worldwide. Based in Geneva, Paris and New York, they are best of international antiquities’ dealers.
They wanted however, to make antiquities more accessible to a broader audience and felt that by offering less expensive objects online would be the answer. But they needed to distinguish themselves from the parent company and come up with a new company name, identity and a website.
HOW WE DID IT
Studio K&M started by conceiving the name, e~Tiquities. (There team had come up with “Petite Phoenix Ancient Art”.) From there we crafted their identity, using the Phoenix Ancient Art logo as a starting point and reference to the parent company. We then designed and developed an e-commerce AND auction site where anyone could buy or bid on objects older than Jesus. We incorporated advanced zooming technology that allows buyers to zoom in very, very, very, very close to reassure them of exactly what they were purchasing.
Since launching, Phoenix Ancient Art has decided to only focus on e-commerce and Studio K&M revamped the site to promote sales.
THE RESULTS
The site has resulted in 100% increased traffic to their store, 60% increase in prospective buyers and 40% increase in sales.
