HELLO

Dr. Kevin Dann

Copywriter

Historian, naturalist and former college history teacher Kevin Dann has wide and diverse experience as a nonfiction writer and editor exploring all sorts of worlds – an enigmatic emerald stone called “serpentine”; the idiosyncratic perceptual realm of synaesthesia; a sinuous stream in Vermont; the sin of philosophical Naturalism; the dark side of American destiny; a subtle but true tale of 2012.

He has taught at Rutgers University, University of Vermont, and SUNY, and recently wrote, produced, and acted in Brooklyn’s first immersive street mystery, Enigma: The Show.

Along with scholarly writing, he has long practiced daily journaling; songwriting (for a number of eclectic string bands); and feature writing for newspapers and magazines. Expect Great Things, his biography of Henry David Thoreau will be published in January 2017 by Tarcher/Penguin.

Kevin’s copywriting skills have been a great plus for Studio K&M’s clients.
